2015 Cape Dorset Annual Graphics Collection

An exhibition and sale of the 2015 Print Collection by Inuit artists and printmakers from Cape Dorset. This year's collection consists of 31 images by 12 artists, and exemplifies the range of imagery and breadth of creative approaches for which Dorset is well known. There is work that explores the realm of legend while others are preoccupied with lived experience. There are pieces that depict creatures of land, sea or air alongside those born of pure fantasy.
This year's sale of prints will take place on Saturday, October 17 at 10 am. Due to the high demand of these limited prints, the sale will be conducted by lottery. Customers need not be present to purchase prints.
