Inspired by Dr. King
January 26 – April 1, 2012
This exhibition features art of local students from Central Grade School, Old Mission Elementary School, Trinity Lutheran School, Cherry Knoll Elementary, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Middle School. Inspired by quotes from the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial in Washington, DC, the students created an installation that aims to honor and celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Thank you to art teachers Linda Seibel and Jaffe Davis for developing these art projects and lending the work of their students to the Museum.
Thank you to the Human Rights Commission of Traverse City, Traverse City Area Public Schools, and The State Theater for partnering with the Dennos to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2012.
